Concealer Brushes - Perfect Coverage for Flawless Skin
Concealer Brush
Concealers are an essential part of achieving a flawless makeup base. A good makeup look and even-looking skin can be easily created with a tinted moisturizer or a very light foundation and concealer. Of course, a radiant and light makeup look can also be achieved with just concealer or a neutralizer.
Choosing a concealer brush should be based on its intended use. A flat brush made of synthetic bristles can press the concealer precisely into the right spot to complement the makeup base or to blur skin imperfections. The narrowest concealer brushes are best for covering small individual blemishes or for applying highlighter precisely into fine lines. Wider brushes are ideal for applying concealers or neutralizers to larger areas, such as covering couperose on the cheekbones or around the nose during flu season. Foundation can also be applied precisely to the right spot with a suitably sized concealer brush. Especially for the under-eye area, it is advisable to use concealers with the lightest possible texture to avoid emphasizing small lines caused by dryness under the eyes. For these very light concealers, plump brushes are ideal. They help achieve a light but even finish. A plump concealer brush can also be used to lightly apply cream blush or to add highlights and contours to the face.
Concealers and neutralizers should be applied to the skin after foundation, so you know exactly where and how much concealer is needed. If using antiseptic concealers specifically for blemishes, it is advisable to have a separate concealer brush for them and to take special care of its cleanliness.
